At Biffpack we are aware of the problems involved when trying to establish your obligation and we understand the whole process can be very difficult for everyone involved. This is why Biffpack run training days to help you ensure compliance within your company and ensure you get it right first time, every time!

Due to changes to the Packaging Waste Regulations in 2011, we are now taking forward bookings for our great value training courses which will be run prior to 2012 registration in January and February.

The 2011 Government Waste Strategy sets out major changes to the PRN evidence system the UK currently uses, including the implementation of end of waste criteria for steel and aluminium in October 2011 (and subsequently paper and glass).

This will have a significant impact on how PRN evidence will be issued in 2012, and the consultation on increased recycling targets to 2017 for plastic, steel, aluminium and glass.

We highly recommend that members come along to our courses in order to understand how these changes will affect the costs of compliance in the UK and the future of reporting under the Regulations.

Our specialist training courses also include guidance on:

• what is required of an obligated business
• how to identify the packaging flows within your business
• how to determine obligated packaging
• the registration process
• completion of the data form (worked examples)

As we like to make sure people get the most out of our courses, there is usually maximum of 12 delegates per session and places are allocated on a first come first served basis. The course runs from 10am (9.30 registration) until approximately 3.30pm.

We also hold a questions and answers session which gives you the opportunity to discuss your concerns and queries face to face with a Biffpack Regulatory expert.

Courses are charged at £175+VAT per delegate, but for 2012 we are offering members a buy one get one half price deal to companies who wish to send more than one delegate.

Places are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Should you wish to take advantage of the buy one get one half price offer advertised, the second delegate from your company will be charged at £87.50+VAT.
